It’s A Posy
It is 6:30 a.m. and I woke up longing to create. It is too early to do complicated so I pulled out one of our brand new A size stamp sets. I was trying to keep it simple and less messy. By the way, have I mentioned how much I love the new A size stamp sets. as they are only $7.95. What a deal? I pulled out my Veranda Paper Packet and Veranda Basics and this is what I came up with…
I made two simple cards that I just love. They could be used for any occasion and adapted to any size.
On the photo above you can’t really see the details on the friend card. Both flowers are stamped on a separate piece of cardstock and cut out. Then they are applied to the card using our 3 D foam tape. it gives the card dimension and adds interest to the design!
On the 3 x 3 card, the flower was designed by using the Kiss and Twist method.
This is how you Kiss and Twist.
1. Stamp the flower in Juniper Ink.
2. Take the leaf stamp. Do not ink it. Press the leaf stamp directly on the flower. The stamps are kissing. Twist the leaf stamp. Remove stamp and repeat. This causes a marble effect.
3. Stamp the Juniper flower on carstock and you get a marbled effect. Easy Peasy.

So pretty! It is a yearning when it’s time to create, isn’t it?
